Zapmail sells Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes in bundles: $39 a month for ten, then $3.50 each, with automated DNS and a five-minute setup. The two things buyers discover later are in the help center rather than on the pricing page: after twelve months each mailbox steps up to $5 to $6 plus a base fee of $59 to $499, and payments are not refundable.

Why people look for a Zapmail alternative

  • After the first year, mailboxes rise to $6, $5.50 or $5 each and the plans gain base fees of $59, $169 or $499 a month (source)
  • Payments are not refundable, including pre-warmed mailboxes, which are maintained for twelve months and cannot be renewed (source)
  • Reviews report India-based IP addresses despite marketing of US and EU IPs, and mailboxes burning out within one to two weeks (source)
  • No ongoing warm-up product: you bring your own, or buy pre-warmed and hope (source)

How to choose

  • Decide who owns the domains and accounts. Some vendors keep ownership or administrator access; if you may leave, you want yours in your own name.
  • Count the year-two price, not the launch price. Several infrastructure vendors step prices up after twelve months or sell pre-warmed mailboxes that expire.
  • Ask what happens when a domain burns. Replacement policy, and whether the vendor pauses the sender or quietly suppresses your recipients.
  • Check the review sites for cancellation stories. They are the most consistent complaint in this category across vendors.
  • Send at 8 to 10 a day per mailbox whatever you buy. No vendor's mailbox survives 100 a day to strangers.

Questions, answered straight

Which Zapmail alternative lets me keep the domains and accounts?
Premium Inboxes has you bring your own domains. emailcampaign.ai registers domains in your name and creates the Workspace or Microsoft accounts under your ownership, with credentials in a vault you control. Instantly's pre-warmed accounts stay under Instantly's ownership and administrator access.
What does a Google Workspace mailbox actually cost?
Google's flexible-plan list price is $8.40 a user a month. Resellers quoting $2.50 to $4.50 are pooling discounted seats under their own accounts; that is legitimate, but it is also why ownership and year-two pricing are worth reading. emailcampaign.ai bills the $8.40 seat at cost plus a one-time $5 setup, and the account is yours.
Do I still need warm-up if the mailboxes come pre-warmed?
Yes. Pre-warming gives a mailbox a history; it does not keep one. Warm-up should continue at a maintenance level for as long as the mailbox sends cold email.
