Mailforge Alternatives (2026): Provider Mailboxes, Dedicated IPs and Done-For-You Infrastructure

Six alternatives to Mailforge's shared-IP SMTP slots, with prices read from each vendor on 19 September 2026: Infraforge, Zapmail, Premium Inboxes, Primeforge, Saleshandy and emailcampaign.ai.

How this page was made. Every price and claim below was read from each vendor's own pages on 19 September 2026 and is linked to its source; where a vendor does not publish a figure we say so. emailcampaign.ai is one of the alternatives listed and we say where it fits and where it does not. Prices change; check the linked pages before buying.

Mailforge sells cold email mailboxes on its own shared-IP SMTP infrastructure at $3 a slot a month billed yearly, with a ten-slot minimum and warm-up sold separately through Warmforge. It is the cheapest way to put a lot of addresses behind a sequencer. People move away from it for three reasons: they want mail to come from Google or Microsoft rather than a pooled IP, they want warm-up in the price, or they want to own the domains and accounts outright.

Why people look for a Mailforge alternative

  • Shared IP pools mean your placement depends on neighbours you did not choose; Reddit threads attribute spam-folder streaks to the pool, and one buyer flagged zero out-of-office replies after 500 sends as the sign that nothing was landing (source)
  • Warm-up is a second subscription (Warmforge, $10 a mailbox a month billed quarterly), so the real price per warmed mailbox is about $13, not $3 (source)
  • Not Google Workspace or Microsoft 365: receivers that trust provider reputation see an unknown SMTP source instead (source)
  • Annual billing and a ten-slot minimum front-load the cost for a small team (source)

How to choose

  • Decide who owns the domains and accounts. Some vendors keep ownership or administrator access; if you may leave, you want yours in your own name.
  • Count the year-two price, not the launch price. Several infrastructure vendors step prices up after twelve months or sell pre-warmed mailboxes that expire.
  • Ask what happens when a domain burns. Replacement policy, and whether the vendor pauses the sender or quietly suppresses your recipients.
  • Check the review sites for cancellation stories. They are the most consistent complaint in this category across vendors.
  • Send at 8 to 10 a day per mailbox whatever you buy. No vendor's mailbox survives 100 a day to strangers.

Questions, answered straight

Is Mailforge the same as Infraforge and Salesforge?
They are sibling products of one company in Tallinn: Salesforge is the sequencer, Mailforge sells shared-IP mailboxes, Infraforge sells dedicated-IP mailboxes, Primeforge sells Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes, and Warmforge is the warm-up. G2 reviewers note the confusion between them.
What is the cheapest Mailforge alternative that includes warm-up?
Saleshandy bundles provider mailboxes at $2.99 to $3.99 a month with warm-up included in its outreach plans from $34 a month. emailcampaign.ai includes unlimited warm-up on every plan, including the free trial, with Google Workspace seats at Google's own $8.40 rate and self-hosted servers from $39 a month for many mailboxes.
Should I move from shared IPs to Google Workspace mailboxes?
If your prospects are on Gmail or Google Workspace, usually yes: provider reputation does the heavy lifting. Keep volume at 8 to 10 a day per mailbox and warm for two to three weeks before campaigns.
