Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who sends through Campaign Cloud (“the Service”), operated by emailcampaign.ai — including agencies sending on behalf of clients. You are responsible for the content, recipients and lawful basis of every message sent from your workspace, whichever team member or automation sent it.

2. Lawful sending

You must comply with every law that applies to you and to your recipients, including CAN-SPAM (US), GDPR and PECR (EU/UK), CASL (Canada) and their equivalents elsewhere. In practice that means a truthful sender identity, no deceptive subject lines or headers, a working unsubscribe that is honored promptly, a valid postal address where the law requires one, and a lawful basis — such as legitimate interest with a genuine business relevance — for contacting each person.

Business-to-business outreach to professional addresses about relevant products or services is permitted where the law allows it. Outreach to consumers at personal addresses without consent is not.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Service to send: unsolicited bulk mail to purchased or scraped consumer lists; phishing, malware, or links to deceptive pages; content that impersonates another person or organization; sexually explicit, violent, hateful or harassing material; offers for illegal goods or services, counterfeit products, or investment schemes that are prohibited where you or your recipients are; or anything that misrepresents who you are or what you sell.

You may not contact anyone who has unsubscribed, bounced hard, or asked you to stop — through any campaign, workspace or sending account. The suppression wall enforces this on every send, and circumventing it (re-importing suppressed addresses, using look-alike addresses, sending from outside the Service to bypass it) is a breach of this policy.

You may not send from mailboxes, domains or tenants you are not authorized to use, or provide false information when the Service provisions infrastructure on your behalf.

4. Sending hygiene the Service enforces

Every campaign email carries a one-click unsubscribe header and an unsubscribe footer unless you place the link yourself. Addresses are verified before a first send where verification is enabled. Hard bounces suppress the address automatically. A bounce spike or a spam-complaint signal pauses the affected campaign or mailbox before further damage. Warmup ramps and per-mailbox daily limits exist to protect deliverability for everyone; raising them is possible, defeating them is not.

5. Enforcement

We monitor bounce rates, complaint signals, blocklist listings and abuse reports across the platform. Where a workspace's sending threatens shared reputation or breaks this policy, we may pause campaigns or mailboxes, require changes before sending resumes, or — for deliberate or repeated abuse — suspend or terminate the account without refund. We tell you what was found and what must change; we act first when the risk to other customers is immediate.

Complaints about mail sent through the Service can be reported to abuse@emailcampaign.ai. We investigate every report and reply to the reporter when an address is provided.

6. Your data subjects' rights

People you contact can ask you to stop, to correct their details, or to be erased. The Service gives you the tools to honor those requests — suppression on reply or link, and a right-to-erasure action under Compliance that removes personal fields, blanks message bodies and suppresses the address permanently. Honoring such requests promptly is your obligation under this policy and under the law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as laws and provider requirements change; material changes are announced in the Service. Questions: support@emailcampaign.ai.
